Libia Valdéz

Born in vibrant Caracas, Venezuela, Libia Valdés Gregg grew up immersed in a time of cultural effervescence, where art, music, and theater flourished along with a new modern vision of the country. From an early age, she found a powerful language in artistic expression, and it was on stage – thanks to a university drama club – where she discovered her true vocation: to tell stories that move, connect and transform. With a background in Theatre and Social Communication, Libia has dedicated her life to intertwining art with communication. She has worked in the world of journalism, public relations, cultural production, and has been an active part of festivals, museums and creative spaces both in Venezuela and in the United States. Her passion for voice and interpretation also led her to the musical field, being a contralto singer of the Hispanic Choir of Houston, a community choir that celebrates the richness of the Hispanic choral repertoire. There, Libia gave life to music as another way of narrating, sharing roots and creating cultural bridges through singing and currently she serves as part of their Advisory Council. Today, she continues her path as an all-round artist, mother, wife, and eternal apprentice, bringing sensitivity, depth, and authenticity to every project she touches. Libia Valdés Gregg doesn't just create art: she lives it with her soul.
