Collaborations

As part of our mission to promote Hispanic Choral Music and serve as a unifying force in Houston’s diverse Latin American community, the Hispanic Choir of Houston collaborates with other musicians and institutions that are also pursuing similar goals.
One of the institutions we love to work with is El Sistema Texas.
El Sistema Texas is committed to change lives through music. Inspired by Venezuela’s El Sistema, they offer children, youth, and adults—regardless of background or financial situation—access to high-quality music education. Since starting in 2022, they have grown with the belief that music is a basic right and a powerful tool for bringing people together.
Through their orchestral and choral programs, they help students build discipline, teamwork, and respect, encouraging them to discover their talents and learn values that go beyond music. Today, they serve over 220 students in Houston and are working to expand their programs to reach even more communities with the transformative power of music.
HCH has been invited to several presentations by El Sistema Texas, and it has been a privilege to be part of their activities. We encourage all our followers to support and contribute to their cause so they can reach more children and youngsters to receive not only high quality music education but also practical work in discipline and personal growth.
