Liliana Manzano

Venezuelan, born in Caracas. Physician Doctor graduated from the Universidad Central de Venezuela with a specialty in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery. An enthusiastic participant in the great Venezuelan choral movement, she began at the age of 17 singing with the group Juventudes Culturales. Later she was a soprano member of the Schola Cantorum de Caracas, in whose ranks she participated in numerous a cappella and symphonic-choral concerts, as well as several national and international tours. Established in Katy since 2003, her inextinguishable desire to sing in polyphonies led her to be part of various choral organizations, among which stand out the St. Lawrence Chamber Singers Choir and the Houston Hispanic Choir HHC (actually renamed as Hispanic Choir of Houston HCH). Currently as a mandolinist, she enjoys the privilege of making music with the instrumental group INTERLUDIO, made up of Venezuelan friends who meet weekly for rehearsing and performing mostly Venezuelan but also Latin American music, with string instruments, percussion and voice. The beautiful objective of INTERLUDIO is to procure the fusion of music and friendship, constituting a kind of oasis for its members in face of the hustle and bustle of everyday life, in addition to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of the music of our country Venezuela.
